Big Red M Expands Consulting Services
(New Event Planning support helps associations execute high-impact events with less internal strain) |
 |
|
Big Red M has officially launched Event Planning Consulting Services!
This is a new offering designed to help associations execute high-impact events without overextending already busy internal teams.
As events continue becoming more important drivers of member engagement, sponsorship value, and non-dues revenue, many organizations are finding themselves balancing growing expectations with limited bandwidth. This new service was built to close that gap, giving associations experienced support across every stage of the event lifecycle, from early planning and strategy to on-site execution and post-event reconciliation.
Led by Shoshanna Gross, CMP, the offering includes full-scale event planning, vendor coordination, registration oversight, sponsor and exhibitor support, agenda development, operational management, and more. The goal is simple: help associations deliver stronger event experiences with a trusted partner handling the moving pieces behind the scenes.
As Lucas McCann, CEO of Big Red M, shared in the release:
βEvents are one of the most important touchpoints an association has with its members, sponsors, and stakeholders. But they are also one of the most operationally demanding.β

How ABWA Turned a Rebrand Into a Scalable Member Experience
(A closer look at the design system Big Red M built for ABWA) |
|
|
|
A strong rebrand is one thing, but making it work consistently across publications, programs, events, chapter materials, and day-to-day communications is something else entirely.
That was the challenge facing the American Business Womenβs Association after rolling out a refreshed brand identity across its national network.
With so many moving pieces across the organization, the goal wasnβt just to create better-looking materials. It was to build a design system that could scale, stay consistent, and support the full member experience across every touchpoint.
Big Red M partnered with ABWA to help bring that vision to life. |
 |
|
The project included redesigning Achieve, ABWAβs digital magazine, into a more modern and engaging editorial experience while also developing scalable templates and visual systems for marketing materials, conferences, internal communications, and ongoing programs. At the same time, multiple sub-brands and initiatives were unified under one cohesive framework, allowing each to maintain its individuality while still feeling connected to the larger organization.
The result was a more flexible and repeatable design system that improved consistency, strengthened the overall brand experience, and made it easier for teams across the organization to execute confidently moving forward.
Read the full case study to see how ABWA transformed a rebrand into a scalable system built for long-term growth. |

A New Look Each Month
(How weβre showcasing new creative styles each month)
Now in its fifth edition, the May header design leads off this newsletter as part of our rotating banner series.
Designed by our Graphic Designer, Hope Sudol, this concept introduces a new header style each month. The goal is simple: showcase our teamβs creativity, highlight individual design styles, and bring more visual variety to each edition.
Inspired by Googleβs iconic logo treatments, these headers will continue evolving from month to month, giving us room to experiment creatively while keeping each issue feeling fresh. |
