Client Success Story
(How strategic consulting supported a successful dues model transformation) |
 |
|
Big Red M partnered with the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) to evaluate and restructure its dues model as the organization explored adding a new membership category within a growing market segment. The project required a strong understanding of industry best practices, competitor models, and the potential operational impact of a new structure.
CHPA sought a strategic partner who could bring broad association insight, deliver data-driven recommendations, and guide the process while maintaining momentum and flexibility.
Big Red M provided research, industry benchmarking, and strategic consulting to help CHPA design a well-informed dues framework. Through structured check-ins, clear timelines, and an adaptable approach, the team kept the project on track while making refinements as needs evolved.
As a result, CHPA successfully launched a new dues strategy and schedule, gaining deeper insight into its membership landscape and identifying additional opportunities for future collaboration with Big Red M.

Behind the Scenes of a Successful Conference
(How operational support helps associations execute seamless events) |
|
Associations donβt always have the internal bandwidth (rarely, actually) to manage every moving part of a major gathering.
We recently partnered with an association to support their conference from pre-planning through post-event review. Our Event Planner, Shoshanna Gross, CMP, served as an extension of their team, managing the operational details that keep events running smoothly.
Before the event, Shoshanna coordinated hotel logistics, A/V needs, and food and beverage orders, ensuring every detail was confirmed and documented.
On-site, we managed registration, sponsorship deliverables, and served as the primary contact for vendors, entertainment, and leadership.
After the event wrapped, we reviewed financials and debriefed with the executive director to capture insights for future planning.
Big Red M supports associations that need experienced operational help without adding to payroll. We handle the logistics that make or break conferences, tradeshows, and member experiences.

Big Red M Walks to End MS
(Join us on April 12th in Washington, D.C. to support the fight against multiple sclerosis) |

Some decisions you make as a team stick because they look good on paper. Others stick because they mean something to the people in the room.
A few years ago, when Big Red M committed to partnering with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and participating in Walk MS, it was firmly the latter. Multiple sclerosis has affected members of our team and their families, and this felt like the right way for us to do something about it together.
This year, weβll be walking again on April 12th in Washington, D.C., standing alongside thousands of others who are raising awareness and critical funding to support those living with MS.
There are two ways to get involved:
Every step and every dollar makes a difference. Together, we can help create a world free of MS. |

A New Look Each Month
(How weβre showcasing new creative styles each month)
Now in its third edition, the March header design leads off this newsletter as part of our rotating banner series.
Designed by our Senior Graphic Designer, Jon Cannon, this concept introduces a new header style each month. The goal is simple: showcase our teamβs creativity, highlight individual design styles, and bring more visual variety to each edition.
Inspired by Googleβs iconic logo treatments, these headers will continue evolving from month to month, giving us room to experiment creatively while keeping each issue feeling fresh. |
